today was our last sunday at church. we have loved new hope from the moment we set foot inside 8 years ago. we have gone through A LOT of changes as a family during our time there. we consider so many people there family. they have prayed with and and for us. we have cried with them and them with us. we have done lots of laughing too. i guess it hit me during the response time today that we weren't going to be back. after a sermon about writing our story the song was about jesus being in our yesterdays, our todays and our tomorrows. i know this is GOD's plan for us and we are so excited to be starting a new chapter in our story. i am just scared, nervous, anxious about starting over. i/we don't make new friends that easily. we cherish the few good friends we have. it is hitting me finally that we are leaving. memphis is a long way from peoria.
went to lunch with some members of our old life group today. it was good. noah and nathan are such good buddies. they are two peas in a pod together. i guess that's what being born two weeks apart will do for two little boys. their mommies are pretty similar too. that midwestern blood in us i guess. i'm going to miss that.
the last two nights, i have gone out with some girlfriends. just to hang out a last time. my scrap and teacher girls. when we get together, we talk about kids and school and families. we just get along. i am so luck to have a husband that doesn't mind staying home with kids so i can have girls night or scrap night. i'll miss my girls.
tomorrow is family night. we have 4 other families with kids (mostly boys) our kids ages that we spend time with. we will have a last loud night with 7 boys, a girl and baby leah and the mommies and daddies. we can go weeks without talking, but when we get together, it's comfortable. i'll miss that.
just wanted you all to know that i will miss you. i'm sorry if i depressed you, but i am feeling it right now. thank GOD for the internet. it'll be like we're still together...sort of.
Okay it is 6:47 and luckily I read this before I have any kids in my room because I did get a little teary-eyed. I am going to try and keep myself together tonight but I am not making any promises!
