Today was Noah's last day at school. (Elijah will go next week so we don't have to worry about him while the packers/movers are here.) One of his favorite teachers, Miss Theresa, was off today, but she came in to eat lunch with him. It sounds like each of them laid with him at nap time for awhile. All of the 3 y/o teachers come to say good-bye to him when we left. We are going to miss them so much!! They have been such a part of our family. We have been so blessed to find care-givers who love are children as much as we do.
We went to the mall tonight for dinner and who did we see but Miss Theresa!! Noah was so excited. She and her daughter played for a little while with us at the play area. This was the first time Noah played as soon as we got there. He was so excited she was coming he forgot that he usually hangs back and refuses to play because he doesn't have any friends there.
Elijah on the other hand...he played right away. There is a row of benches that is just low enough for him to get on. He of course stood up on them. He walked to the end and then half stepped half jumped right off, flat on his face. Luckily the floor is very well padded and he quickly recovered. He then of course got right back up. I waited to see if he would do it again, but he learned his lesson. Just as I thought he was about to step off again and got down and slid off. Smart boy!
