They had just gotten back from a cruise and brought Noah a monkey pirate. 2 of his favorite things: monkeys and pirate. He loves it. He immediately needed to go put on his pirate clothes too.
He of course slept with monkey last night. This is what he looked like at 10 when T got him up to go to the bathroom.
Have you seen a pic of the back of the house? Here's one. I took it from the next street over on our walk this morning. The right side of the picture is our bedroom, the middle bay window is the kitchen, then the french doors. The boys room is the last window on the left. Eventually there will be a deck on the back and much less mud.
Growing up, we had an unfinished basement. We got bigwheels for Christmas one year. We lived in the country and had no concrete, plus it was winter. So we rode the big wheels in the basement. Around and around the center posts. It was wonderful. So of course my dad thought the boys needed bigwheels. We have a 2300 square foot basement after all. With nothing in it right now. Noah is in heaven. Elijah's big wheel isn't quite the right proportion so he hasn't gotten the hang of it yet. He had a wonderful time running after Noah though.

I had a Dukes of Hazard big wheel when I was little. Such fun!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I made the comment to noah when we were up there that he needed a big wheel. Those were some of the best times!
ReplyDeleteThe picture of the boys waiting at the window reminds me of one from the cat in the hat.
