Touch a Truck

Friday the big public school district here had an event aimed at preschoolers. They had about 15 "trucks" lined up so the kids could check them out. They had a city bus, school bus, bucket truck, firetruck, hummer, snowplow, limo and several other trucks. The kids were able to sit in the driver's seat. Many chose to honk the very loud horns (annoying!) When we arrived we had to walk through a hallway where they had info tables (early intervention, pre-k programs etc.) that was a bit crowded. They had a bunch of games that Noah actually played and got prizes. One table was giving away those Kohls Cares stuffed animals. We are now the proud owners of a hippo and yertle (?) the turtle.

Anyway, I think because it was crowded inside, Leah got upset and then Elijah. Elijah never snapped out of it so he just hung out in the stroller the whole time. He didn't touch a truck (he said this to me today). But Noah thought it was pretty cool Playing with the clown while we waited for the trucks to be ready.

I had my zoom lens on my camera so in order to get any decent pictures, I had to stand a mile away. Oops!
