From Caterpillar after not hearing anything else this week:

I'm sorry for any discomfort this is bringing. To cut to the chase, Caterpillar IS making you an offer to come work on my team. I understand that they are waiting for one signature from Global HR and that is the hold up. Stand by!

    I agree with Carrie's smileys. I am selfish so I am sad but I know you guys will be happy there if all works out.
