Hiking

We have been having a beautiful dry, perfect temp fall. We have been spending as much time as possible outside, knowing anyday it will be over. A few weeks ago, Noah and Terril went on their first boyscout outing--a hike. They had so much fun, we knew we all wanted to try.

The biggest draw was a creek. When the boys went, they had on jeans and tennis shoes. We knew they might get wet, but I figured it would be little puddles. Nope. They waded through a creek. We later found out they could have avoided it, but 30 first graders and a creek. They are going in! N had told the others so that was our first stop.
