Last night just after 9, we hear loud booms. Sounded like fireworks. We go out in the back yard and there are huge fireworks going off really close to us. Theses were not your amateur fireworks. These were commercial, illegal, professional fireworks. We are guessing they were the fireworks for our town, although we knew nothing about them. And we had no idea there was anything but corn fields behind us. No parks that we know of. Guess they were shooting them off in a corn field. We could even hear the people cheering, so they were pretty close.
These pictures are from Friday night on the river. I took tons of fireworks pictures just because I could and my camera was doing it so well.
