At the Pool

Sunday, we spent the afternoon at the local pool. The boys had a fabulous time. The kiddie pool was a walk in and then it was may 1.5 feet deep. Perfect for Elijah although he was a little wobbly which made me nervous. He tried to copy everything Noah did, even trying to jump off the side.

Noah has been talking about going down the slide ever since we moved here, but Terril told him he had to be able to swim to the edge and go down the slide without his vest. It looked like a kid going down with his swim vest got stuck near the bottom and had to push himself out. So he didn't get to try it this time.





Leah tolerated it okay, but she was hot. I didn't let her swim because I didn't really want her in the sun yet.



We started swimming lessons today at the same pool. Of course Noah was apprehensive and didn't want to participate. He did allow the girls to take him into the pool. He cried at first, but then he just grumped. He sat on the side for the most part. Hopefully tomorrow he will participate since it won't be so new.
