Not much happening. Noah and I spent Saturday morning yard saleing (hmm that doesn't look right saling, sale-ing, guess it's not really a word) anyway, found some great deals, lots of Berstain Bears books, Noah's favorite right now. A game for $1, a free little tykes sandbox, some puzzles, a free dinosaur that may not live to see tomorrow because it's obnoxious, some outfits for Leah, a singing book for Elijah and a play gym thing for Leah. It was a beautiful morning and we really enjoyed roaming around looking for deals. Oh and we discovered Metamora has a farmer's market on the square on Saturday mornings. Small, but so nice.
After nap we headed back to Washington to play at the sprinkler park. Noah got in a good 30 minutes of cold water play before it started pouring.
Today was a beautiful day. Hard to believe it's almost July when the high today was 72!! Yes 72. The only complaint we have it's that not warm enough to swim. Ahh can't have it all.
We tried a new church this morning, but were disappointed for a number of reasons and won't be going back. Trying to decide if I should e-mail them and tell them what turned us off as visitors.
Drove around a bit this afternoon before going to meet our realtor at a house we had planned to look at. Only when we got there, we discovered it backed up to a gas station. Err. We didn't even go in. And we have decided that even though that part of town would be much closer to Terril's job, we really don't like the area. Seems very junky I guess. We are really liking Washington, it has such a small town friendly, homey feel. Metamora is the same way.
Oh and the best news of all, when I take Leah for her 4 month check up tomorrow, I get to say, yes she is sleeping through the night!!! We stopped feeding her several days ago and would just give her her paci when she woke up in the night, usually around 3. Then she was waking up about 530 and we'd put her in bed with us so not to wake the boys. Well last night, she didn't make a peep until after 7. Now if the boys would just do the same. They were up by 6 this morning.
yea for Leah! That's great. Hope you find a house soon. Sorry you're having a hard time finding a church. Sometimes it takes awhile to find a good "fit".
