Man it is H-O-T today. I don't know an accurate temp but the forecast was for 100. We have been holed up inside this afternoon trying to keep cool. The a/c is struggling but we have every single ceiling fan on as well as a box fan so it is comfortable.
Our new neighbors were having a yard sale this morning. We walked over there to say hi and she asked us if we wanted this box of plastic blocks. It looked mostly like the cheaper mega blocks, but we said sure. We would add them to the collection of our blocks to play with outside. I got them home and started looking through them and found a lot of lego duplo blocks--both the large baby size and the size Noah loves. There are some really cool different pieces. Then there was a dump truck. We unwrapped it and it was full of army men! Just what we need, more army men! Noah was thrilled and has been playing all day with the legos and army men. What great neighbors we have.
We had to buy carseat #4 this morning. Before school got out in May, Elijah was still in his baby seat. But now he is in a bigger carseat so we need another for Terril's car. After much discussion, we decided to get Noah a cheap seat for the van and give his seat to Elijah for Terril's car.
We did trek all the way out to babies r us to see what they had. They had a new double stroller that is pretty nice, but very expensive! I guess I will look for a used one, but if money was no object...
In another day or so I should be able to post exciting video of Elijah. You'll just have to wait and see. Until then...
