Today was another beautiful day. Not quite as warm, but so sunny we were drawn outside. We went down to the river to look for eagles. We did see a few but they were on the other side of the river. The river isn't frozen like it normally is this time of year. I wonder how that is effecting the eagles. Right in the center of this picture is an eagle.
The kids seemed to enjoy being outside and by the water. We were the only ones in this spot.
There was a playground here too.
We stopped at one other spot before heading to the Steak N Shake by the river for lunch. Here is where we got our best eagle view. I wonder if this is the same one we saw last year eating a fish. Had my camera ready this time.
This one was perched right outside steak n shake scanning the river. Such a beautiful bird. We are so lucky we have so many of them here. Almost every day it the winter we see them soaring over the river.
