We are in Florida visiting my parents who have rented a house in Port Charlotte for January. Lots of first for the kids this week...first plane ride, first time seeing the ocean...
The kids wanted to try out the pool first thing. Thankfully it's heated since it wasn't a very warm day. And Thankfully T and Grandma were willing to swim so I didn't have to!.
We also checked out the beach. It was really windy so it was pretty chilly on the beach.
But bright and sunny
N went crazy over the shells. He had filled a walmart sack in no time.
The water was pretty cold, N got wetter than I thought he would. E was always right behind him but not quite as daring.
This diva got surprised one time by a wave and then refused to get even close to the water the rest of the time. She wouldn't even walk on the wet sand.
It was cold heading back into the wind!
