Daddy and Noah came up with the fabulous idea to make Noah's pinewood derby car into a lego brick and lego guy. After a lot of hard work, he turned out great! (face not on yet here)

Patiently waiting his turn. There were 70+ heats. Noah's car ran in 6 of them. 6 cars in each heat. His came in dead last each time. But he was okay with it. In the end, his goal was to come in last!

The goal was to have the best of show car. The mayor of our town decided this award. He didn't pick Noah's car. We're not sure what he based his decision on--he picked the plainest, most normal looking cars. Oh well. Noah had fun and was a good sport about it. Next year he wants to build the fastest car.
