House update

Terril is starting work on the deck. He's been working to get it all laid out so hopefully we can get it started this weekend. Backyard--the grass is coming in. Can you see T mowing there on the left? the grass looks better from a distance. The back is mostly some sort of tall grassy weed and icky thistles. The tree in the center is our "big" tree. You can kinda see one of the smaller ones on the right. There is another one just past it.

This spring I was desperate to plant something. So I planted wave petunias in the muddy muddy clay just before we went out of town, thinking they wouldn't make it. Surprise, surprise, most of them did. I finally got around to putting down some mulch last night so it looks so much better. Before it looked like flowers growing in the yard, there was so much grass growing in there!

Big bare spot that will hopefully get taken care of in the fall. right after they planted the seed, it poured and washed a lot of it away. So now there is a huge bare spot.
