Our caterpillars have been growing and growing. They started out teeny tiny, probably small than my pinky fingernail. Now they are fat and as long as my whole pinky finger! Today 3 climbed to the top of their jar. Two have formed a chrysallis and the 3rd is just hanging there. The other two are apparently still hungry...
We didn't see either of them form the chrysallis. It must happen fairly quickly. We looked up a few videos on youtube. It looks like they are turning themselves inside out and zipping up. Here is a time lapse of what it must look like
