We went to the zoo this morning. Our membership expires tomorrow so we figured we needed to use it one more time to get our money's worth out of it. I didn't take the camera, so i have no pictures to share. Sorry! We did the butterfly house for the first time. Very cool! Noah really wanted one to land on his finger. One kept following us it seemed, but it never did land.
The polar bears were as neat as always. They were rough-housing in the water which was really fun to watch.
We all had a good time. We even convinced Noah to go into the Animals of the Night exhibit. It's dark in there so all the animals thinks it's night time and come out. They had lots of bats, porcupines and other night animals. Elijah was so good. He just hung out in his stroller taking it all in.
I give Memphis a hard time because it is not the free like the great St. Louis Zoo. It costs $13 a person to get into the Memphis zoo! Some of the exhibits are pretty bad but they are working to improve many of them. The polar bear exhibit is by far the best.
