Festival of Lights Parade

One of the neighboring towns does a big lights parade every year. I think this is year 25. Since it was a fairly warm day, we decided to go. We took some snack to keep us busy while we waited for the parade to start. These floats are are professionallydone. They use them year after year. They have golf carts or junked out (but running) cars underneath them to drive them. Here's a few.

It was an okay parade. There was a good Santa at the end. But there were no bands. The floats weren't even playing music. Really this parade could happen any time of year, if they took out Santa of course. I don't think we'll go on years when it's really cold. The kids really liked it though!
