A few weeks ago, Toys R Us had what they called a Lego event. Since Noah's other obsession after Star Wars is Legos, I took him. They had a bunch of random bricks laid out on the table. They gave the kids a picture of something, told them to build it and have their parents guess what it was. Well that took him all of 30 seconds and he was off building star wars ships.
Then they put those pieces away and dumped a ton of just bricks on the table. They gave them about 15 minutes to build whatever they wanted. Then they got to keep what they built! So I quietly encouraged Noah to use as many bricks as he wanted (could). The other parents did too!
