Free stuff! Our favorite things! The Lakeview Musuem had a free day we took advantage of. It has two rooms of hands on kids stuff. One room with very old exhibits. Another room with a traveling exhibit that was about money. It was a lot over L & Es heads. N got some of it. But not a place we would pay money to go. Glad we had a chance to try it out though.
Our other favorite thing is yardsale-ing. We hit a good one just down the street. They had lots of dress up stuff which thrilled L. She was so excited I couldn't not buy it! New crowns, wands and fancy shoes go great with her boa and hair band bracelets.
The zoo had a free day too. Another beautiful not too hot day to enjoy.
And one evening we went to a free Julie K concert. She's a local singer who does kids music. I think the kids liked it, but they don't show it. Again, glad we didn't pay for it.
My mom was here for a week and one day we met a friend at a sprinkler park/playground less than an hour from here. The boys eventually got in the water and had a good time.
This one was the first one in. She enjoyed filling her cup and dumping it on herself
We also went for a hike in the woods. We saw a bunch of deer along the path--mamas with several babies. We were able to get pretty close to them.
